Climate change is the change in average conditions of weather and temperature. However, our planet is changing for the worse and getting much hotter. Our planet's forests and oceans absorb greenhouse gases from the atmosphere through photosynthesis and other processes, but these absorption methods can't keep up with our rising emissions. This results in the buildup of greenhouse gases causing global warming.

We are creating more and more problems that are killing our only planet. Examples include extreme weather, which has become more prevalent over the past few years and has caused both humans and animals to lose their homes, and in many cases their lives. We are also experiencing dirtier air, more acidic oceans, higher sea levels, shrinking mountain glaciers, shifts in flower blooming times, and higher extinction rates.
